Margate is a town with real character, and it has changed a lot — an arty, lively seaside place people are now moving to, not just around. That shapes how we work. One week is a seafront terrace or a Cliftonville conversion; the next is a family coming down from London for the coast; the next a single piano up a period stairwell. A proper look before the day is where every job starts.

How we work

A move starts with a look, not a number. We find out what is actually moving — the property, the seafront parking, the lanes, the awkward items — and match the crew, the van and the plan to it. On a local move that means working around the front and the Old Town; on a London-to- Margate move it means planning both ends and the run between them.

We would rather give you the honest answer than the easy one. If a job is a man-and-van job we will not sell you a full crew. And we do not quote against the clock and hope — the written quote reflects the job we have actually seen.
